As a Warehouse Section Manager you are responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in the management of all warehouse activities in a given area. You would be expected to assign and organise staff, manage performance and productivity to ensure full contract coverage and excellent standards of customer service at all times, including: /pulliManaging manpower levels and other resources in line with agreed parameters /liliCoordinating operational activities to ensure the required service level is provided /liliConducting regular briefings and ensure effective communications with the Operational Team /liliCommunicating issues and information to the Warehouse Manager such as delivery schedules, warehouse accuracy and general queries /liliConducting one to one meetings with team members to review performance and development /liliRecognising training needs and providing solutions to ensure team members have the required knowledge for their role /liliActively supporting operational change whilst minimising disruption to production and service /liliSupporting the Warehouse Manager as and when required /li /ulh3What we are looking for /h3ulliPrevious experience in a managerial role in a warehouse operation /liliAbility to coordinate daily activities and delegate within a team whilst remaining operationally hands-on /liliA methodical approach and the ability to prioritise workload and tasks /liliAbility to react within a complex and growing operational environment /liliExperience of handling disciplinary and sickness absence cases /liliAn understanding of 3EX.Net warehouse management system and MS office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook) /li /ulpPlease be aware we will be considering applications as we receive them and arranging interviews accordingly.
