Dexerto are looking for a full-time TV, Movies and Anime Writer for our French website, Dexerto.fr The majority of the content you will produce will be translated into French from Dexerto’s English language website, so it is essential that you are fluent in English and Spanish. We are looking for a writer who has great general knowledge of TV, Movies, and Anime, especially things the Dexerto.fr covers on a regular basis - everything from One Piece to Jujitsu Kaisen, and Marvel to DC and Star Wars, You should also be across all the latest trends and be willing and able to cover the biggest current and upcoming movies and shows. This is a varied role that will give you the chance to develop your skills in many different ways. Your main task will be to cover news and publish and update compelling guides, making sure that they are formatted to effectively answer readers’ searches. You’ll use data provided by our SEO Manager to optimize articles for specific keywords while working with our editors to ensure content is of a high standard. We are looking for an organized person who is able to confidently research and write about a variety of topics. You’ll be expected to use content management systems and spreadsheets, so you will need to be comfortable with technology and be able to pick up new working practices quickly. Writing experience, understanding of SEO practices, basic photo editing skills, and familiarity with Google Sheets would also be desirable.
