Due to the expansion and the increase footprint coverage of the Saint-Gobain’s Insulation Stone Wool market share, the DTI Team (Technical Insulation Department) is looking for Technical Support Process Engineer based in Rantigny - (Hauts de France-60).Travels abroad to plants is expected (up to 50% of working time).Your key responsibilities will include:Support the plants in terms of melting process, especially:Analysis of the process effectiveness and performancePropose improvement solutionsAssist/support/lead small local projectsSupport in troubleshooting and problem-solving, per requestPropose and set the operational and technical standardsProvide dedicated training to the local staffIndustrialization lead/support of new processes technical solutionsProvide technical analysis, calculations, and simulations related to the dedicated part of the processSupport strategic projects in the area of competenceAcademic: Engineering schools. Master of Science.Experience / technical competencies:Thermal / Mechanical / Fluid dynamics / ChemistryPrevious experience with process operational subjects in industrial locationsIndustrial experience in the heavy process industries: glass, chemistry, metallurgy, etc.Good communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork in an international and multicultural contextAnalytical and detail-oriented mindsetStructured methodological approachAbility to express oneself succinctly in reports and recommendationsAutonomy and self-driven attitudeCapability to work in a matrix organization as a team leader or as a member of a teamAbility to learn new things quicklyTEC behavior (trust, empowerment, collaborative)The customer for this position is all the Stone Wool plants in the Insulation Business as well as Glass Wool plants for fumes treatments (electrical and gas furnace), which must be supported in the areas of troubleshooting consultancy, industrializations, upgrades, and implementations of new processes, technical process lead or support for projects in plants. The main perimeter is the Stone Wool melting technologies: Cupola, SBM, Electrical Furnace, including the relevant melting fumes treatment installations.The job involves collaboration with the Process Engineers in the plants, and also with members of the Central teams: DTI, GE (Global Engineering), RD and others.
