Job Description Join our culinary team as a Sous Chef in the charming village of Massignac, France. We're seeking a talented and passionate culinary professional to work closely with our Executive Chef in creating exceptional dining experiences that showcase the best of French cuisine and local ingredients. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and refine innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and culinary trends Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and inventory management Lead and inspire the culinary team, providing training, guidance, and supervision to ensure high standards of productivity and quality Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable sanitation practices throughout the kitchen Assist in managing kitchen staffing, scheduling, and budgeting Conduct regular quality checks on food items, ensuring proper presentation, taste, and temperature Contribute to the creation of special menus for events and holidays Foster a collaborative and innovative kitchen environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement Qualifications Culinary Certificate or Degree preferred Minimum of one year of experience in a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef role Proven expertise in French cuisine  Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent culinary techniques and ability to train others Proficiency in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Experience in a luxury hospitality setting is a plus Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Strong communication skills in both English and French Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities Innovative mindset with a passion for creating unique culinary experiences Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Additional Information Auberge Resorts Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs.
