You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates. You’ll contribute to the development of embedded software that ensures the seamless operation of train control and monitoring systems (TCMS) and other subsystems, directly impacting the efficiency and safety of railway transportation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (system engineering, validation, and project management), participate in bench testing and target integration, and ensure deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements, and much more. /ppAs a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will be responsible for: /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDeveloping MPU software using Control Build or C language in compliance with the SwRS or SwDS of the TCMS or other subsystem specifications. /liliIntegrating all TCMS functions to generate the executable software. /liliParticipating in target integration and bench testing. /liliVerifying proper communication with other train equipment. /liliSupporting the validation team during train integration. /liliEnsuring deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule (QCD) requirements. /liliDefining and applying software development processes, design rules, and quality standards. /liliEnsuring traceability of hardware and software configurations. /liliCollaborating closely with system engineering, validation, and project management teams. /li /ulh3Profile Sought /h3ulliEmbedded Systems/Computer Science/Electronics Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in embedded software development. /liliKnowledge of Model-Based Design software (ideally Control Build, MATLAB/Simulink, IEC 61131-3). /liliProficiency in programming languages (C, Python, etc.). /liliFamiliarity with embedded communication protocols (Ethernet, TRDP, CIP, CAN, RS232/485). /liliInterest in embedded systems and the railway sector. /liliStrong analytical and synthesis skills, good interpersonal skills, and team spirit. /liliExperience in the railway sector or a regulated environment (e.g., EN 50128). /liliFluent English required. /li /ulpYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
