As Site HSSE Site/Unit Engineer, for your discipline and assigned project(s), you are responsible for ensuring prevention and mitigation of risks to our personnel, assets, the environment, and our Company reputation. You will also ensure compliance with all standards, rules, and other requirements imposed by the Company, Regulators, Clients, and other relevant Stakeholders. You play a key role in promoting and embedding strong leadership, positive behavior, and culture amongst the site. You are the focal point on site for the Project teams. The term “Specialist” will replace “Engineer” in the Role Profile title when use of this title is specifically restricted due to local regulations/requirements.ROLE CONTRIBUTIONFor your discipline and assigned project/operation(s), you are to:Cascade the project discipline’s requirements to SBM and yard employees on site, ensuring delivery aligns with Company standards and client’s contract.Foster and sustain a strong partnership with SBM and yard employees on site.Conduct regular controls on site to ensure appropriate preventive and corrective actions are put in place, monitor their implementation, and report on it.Participate in vendor/subcontractor qualification to ensure compliance with Company standards.Drive continuous improvement of contractors’ delivery on site.Consult relevant internal partners to stay updated on Group requirements.Share best practices and develop initiatives to learn from current and past projects.The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:Project Management and Client’s satisfaction of the quality of the delivery.Fulfillment of all controls on time with clear reporting.Performance results achieved by the project.Managing deviations and mitigating measures during the execution phase.Leadership and CultureTo embed a strong leadership and culture, you are to:Maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across the Project.Actively contribute to the deployment of training programs and communication campaigns.The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:Survey results after campaigns and trainings.Team EfficiencyTo have a highly efficient and successful team, you are to:Request the appropriate resources to work on site.Coordinate and manage the site team.Ensure the site team has the right information, tools, and training to perform their job and achieve objectives.Monitor and report site team performance.Develop competencies and capacity.The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:Project Manager and direct Manager’s satisfaction of the delivery.Performance achieved by the site team.Managing deviations and mitigating measures during the execution phase. #J-18808-Ljbffr
