That's where you come in!Responsibilities:As a Backup System Engineer, you are responsible for the analysis, optimization, and development of our Backup-Infrastructure and virtualization environments.You are involved in the further development of our highly available Backup-Infrastructure landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes.You will also be involved in the following project topics: Data center migration, virtualization, automation, and cloud computing.You provide 2nd and 3rd level support in infrastructure for our existing customers and advise their departments on technical problems.Minimum Requirements:You have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics.You already have professional experience as a system engineer and knowledge in the following topics: DELL/EMC Power Protect, DELL/EMC-Networker, DELL/EMC Data-Domain, DELL/EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, Backup-to-tape, Veeam or similar Backup Solutions in Hybrid-Cloud Scenarios.Your mindset is solution/process-oriented and analytical, and you have strong methodological skills. Distinct customer orientation and the ability to work in a team as well as a convincing appearance round off your profile.You speak fluent German (B2) and good English (B1).
