We consistently deliver positive relationships, cost reductions and business results.This is your chance to be part of the success story: Cognizant’s Software and Platform Engineering teams are hiring now and we're looking for our next Senior Sales Specialist to join us as an SLS, Associate Director grade.Are you ready to be a change-maker?This role will be based at our Zurich headquarter and offers hybrid work model.Service Line Specialists (SLS) are critical to Cognizant’s approach of Consultative Selling: they provide deep expertise in a Service Line and work with the Client Leadership Team to close new and expansion opportunities on accounts. You will be actively involved in growing the service line’s footprint and working with the Account team to engage clients with opportunities.Your Key Responsibilities:You will be dedicated to Digital Engineering (DE), Application Development Management (ADM) and Quality Engineering Assurance (QEA). These practices provide end-to-end value to organizations looking to escape legacy constraints, modernize technical architecture and culture to be future fit, and produce greenfield products and services.You will lead business development and sales and be accountable for identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities within this landscape for large accounts in Life Science and Insurance.You will stand as the local POC for SPE, lead and champion Cognizant’s offerings and participate in Sales and clients evangelization sessions, meetings and events.Achieve annual sales and revenue targets in the assigned markets and accounts.Provide subject matter expertise to proposal development and overall solution.Respond to and deliver on client requests; respond to RFPs.Identify opportunities, make proactive proposals to client in line with account strategy.Lead pursuits to close new and expansion opportunities related to applications and software transformations.Your Profile:Master or Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science.10+ years of experience in a senior-level client-facing role and/or presales role.Strong track record in selling through the Optimise, Modernize and Innovate value chain: Legacy Modernization, APIzation, Technology Stack Modernization, Factory Models.Previous experience managing global sales and service delivery model(s).You understand drivers and enablers of digital and ability to build client relationships.At ease developing opportunity pipelines, qualifying high priority deals, and winning.You like working collaboratively in a virtual and highly matrixed environment and embrace the “First time right” culture.
