Our international team of scientists and engineers drive the development of our solutions from Paris, San Francisco, Sophia-Antipolis (Nice) & Hong Kong. To support our global outreach, we also operate a commercial office in Spain.

Position Overview

As a Sales Director Aviation - North America, your main responsibility is to qualify inbound prospects, reach out to new ones and convert them into customers. Your success will be directly measured by generated revenue.

What will be your responsibilities?

  1. Be proactive and diligently pursue leads by leveraging diverse contact channels.
  2. Build and nurture relationships with partners and distributors.
  3. Perform targeted sales outreach to different lead segments.
  4. Analyze Market Opportunities: Research and quantify market size, identify leading players, and map key stakeholders in emerging strategic markets.
  5. Define and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy in the aviation vertical.
  6. Close deals & generate revenue: Generate revenue forecast.
  7. Establish high level and strategic relationship with customers during the delivery phase.
  8. Facilitate solution adoption by the customer.
  9. Focus the team resources on the most important deals, has the ability to define priorities.
  10. Enhance Outsight's visibility through strategic networking and presence in relevant networks.
  11. Scope, engage, and close strategic ecosystem partnerships and other business development deals to drive business growth.

What are the requirements for the role?

  1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering field.
  2. 10+ years track record of exceeding sales and/or business development goals.
  3. Proven track record in revenue generation in Smart Infrastructure (ie. airports), Intelligent Transportation Systems or in the Security Industry in technically complex products.
  4. Entrepreneurship spirit is key for this role.
  5. Technically proficient: Motivated to learn about the product and the technology in detail.
