The subsidiary has 2,400 employees at 58 sites across the country and serves more than 200,000 customers, from artisans to petrochemical manufacturers, from analytical laboratories to semiconductors and metallurgy.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?ALFI is a major player in hydrogen production in the Normandy basin; it already operates two natural gas reforming units (SMR) at the Port-Jérôme and Gonfreville sites, connected by a hydrogen pipeline network. ALFI also aims to support its clients in the decarbonization of industry and has invested in hydrogen production capacity through water electrolysis from renewable energy (the Normand’Hy project); this new unit will start in 2026.This position offers you the opportunity to actively and concretely contribute to the energy transition, within an international Group, to quickly enhance your skills during the startup of the unit and to participate in the emergence of a new technology destined to become a major tool for the decarbonization strategy of industry in the coming years.On our renewable hydrogen production site of Normand’Hy in Saint-Jean de Folleville, your main missions will be as follows:You are, by delegation, the safety and legal manager of the site towards the authorities, and you also work towards the Operational Excellence of your site, thus ensuring the industrial performance (safety, reliability, efficiency) of the site and the satisfaction of stakeholders (clients, authorities, employees, etc.) through a continuous improvement process, the commitment of your teams, and in close collaboration with the support teams of the Cluster (Industrial Management, etc).Regulatory, Safety, Security, Environment, Health:Ensure the regulatory compliance of the site, as well as compliance with the Air Liquide Industrial Management System (“IMS”) and various ISO certifications.Develop and maintain a Safety Culture within the site teams and subcontractors to ensure high performance in terms of safety (Safety, Industrial Risks) and security, including cybersecurity.Implement and control the application of risk prevention policies.Ensure the management of emergency situations and incidents.Operations Management:In close collaboration with the support functions of the Cluster (Industrial Management, Energy Management, etc.), participate in defining the industrial strategy of the site and implementing it.Ensure the supply of hydrogen to clients in quantity and quality according to schedules.Organize and optimize production and maintenance processes, in coordination with the support functions of the Cluster (Industrial Management, Energy, Regional Maintenance, etc.) to achieve performance objectives both industrially and financially for the site and the H2 network attached to the site, particularly their reliability and energy efficiency.Cooperate with the various site directors in the basin for the good coordination of maintenance operations to ensure the availability of hydrogen volumes on the H2 network attached to the site.Manage technical incidents from diagnosis to partial or total return to service of installations, interfacing as necessary with the support functions of the Cluster (e.g., Industrial Management, Energy Management, etc.) to ensure a swift return to a stable, reliable, and safe operating mode.Validate action plans (regardless of their origin: audit, RCA, etc.) by ensuring the relevance of actions, their prioritization, and the availability of resources. The prioritization of actions takes into account both local constraints (e.g., safety, reliability, client supply, regulatory compliance, etc.) and broader constraints (industrial programs carried by the Cluster).Quality and Continuous Improvement:Implement continuous improvement plans to optimize the efficiency and productivity of the site and the attached H2 network.Ensure the implementation of key Cluster programs in accordance with requirements and commitments.Stakeholder Management:Develop and maintain relationships based on trust and respect for commitments with clients, local authorities, and the population.
