People like you.Visit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!Job Description:Reporting to the Principal Process Engineer, you will be part of the design engineering team as a Product Engineer. You will perform the assembly of power modules prototypes.Working as a team with the R&D technician, you will participate in equipments the setup, maintenance, and calibration. What’s attractive about this opportunity? Leading prototypes assemblies, main challenge is to provide prototypes to the R&D team and to propose improvements (design, process & methods) to ensure an efficient transfer to manufacturing sites (cost, delay, quality). This position will allow you to:Perform the assembly of Power modules (dies, substrates and connectors attach, packaging)Wire bond Chips onto substratesEdit assembly proceduresMonitor maintenance and calibration activitiesSupport assembly-related failure analysis.Request external analysisYou will also be involved in new technologies transfer:Develop competencies of subcontractors mainly based in Philippines (manufacturing methods transfer, operators training, audits). Business trip possible depending on projects.Projects follow up with Microchip team in Philippines. Requirements/Qualifications: Qualifications and ExperienceBac +5 or equivalent (sciences & technologies)Nice to have knowledge regarding power modules and electronic circuits manufacturing techniques.Good level in English (spoken and written)At Microchip, employees are our greatest strength.
