Prime Contracts Manager – Ohio – Contract - PharmaceuticalThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Prime Contracts Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio. This is a large-scale greenfield capital project investing more than $1bn.Responsibilities:Develop and draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to solicit bids from contractors, ensuring all project requirements and specifications are clearly outlined.Write comprehensive RFPs that address project scope, timelines, and deliverables, tailored to meet the needs of engineering and construction projects.Review and interpret Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and other contractual documents to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals.Negotiate, manage, and amend contracts as needed to reflect changes in project scope or requirements.Facilitate the bidding process, representing the project’s interests rather than commercial interests, to ensure fair and competitive bidding.Provide technical clarifications and respond to queries from potential contractors during the bidding phase.Conduct detailed technical reviews of engineering contracts and proposals to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.Provide technical guidance and clarification to contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the bidding and selection process.Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) preferred.Experience in contract management, preferably with a focus on engineering or construction projects.Proven experience in developing and writing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including the ability to craft detailed and clear specifications.Strong knowledge of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and other contractual documents, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.If this role is of interest, please apply now! #J-18808-Ljbffr
