Presales Engineer/Application Engineer (M/F)We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Presales Engineer / Application Engineer (M/F) to join our growing technical-commercial team. This position involves managing the entire offer preparation process, from initial request to order, while supporting sales activities and maintaining strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and manage technical-commercial offers from the initial request to order placement, including contract review with service or repair teams.Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals, including scope definition, resource requirements, project timelines, necessary tools, and mission costs (visas, training, etc.).Maintain tracking tools to ensure a consolidated view of departmental offers and organizational status.Support regional sales teams during clarification meetings, offer reviews, and client meetings (in person and via teleconference).Record and process orders in accordance with existing procedures.Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned client portfolio, understanding their needs and increasing proposal submissions and order volumes.Travel internationally approximately 15% of the time, often accompanying sales managers.Ideal Candidate Profile:Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a technical-commercial or technical role.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industrial, marine, or petrochemical sectors, especially in rotating machinery (medium-voltage machines, induction, and synchronous generators/motors).Strong competence in preparing and drafting technical and commercial specifications and offers.Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and client interactions.Seniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and EngineeringIndustries: Electric Power Generation #J-18808-Ljbffr
