Job Description: Segment: Royal Canin Type of contract: permanent Location: RCA - Aimargues The role of the Pet and Product Science Specialist is to be the internal reference for feline and canine nutrition and services providing consistency across our projects, driving external advocacy for our science and managing the technical substantiation of a product range, all along its life cycle. What are we looking for? Graduate in Veterinary Medicine, PhD in Animal Biology, Nutrition or similar A specialization with either the European or American Veterinary Nutrition Colleges Significant experience (+5 years) in veterinary education, research or petfood industry Strong analytical skills Fluency in English (oral & written) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with proven ability to communicate complex science verbally and through written materials, to a variety of audiences including expert and non-technical audiences What will be your key responsibilities? Building and interacting with Internal and External networks to provide guidance and insights regarding the nutritional and scientific content of projects Develop and internally and externally disseminate the scientific content of new product, driving engagement in the story, performance and benefits of our products Support scientifically product range after launch throughout life cycle Follow the technical performance of a product range to drive global product improvement initiative and prepare future range/territory evolution What can you expect from Mars, and Royal Canin in particular?
