They have a key role in defining the next steps of our Signaling System in future applications, in line with platform reuse strategies and market needs.Leading this Group is a challenging task that requires global understanding of Software Design, Complex systems, general engineering skills, and managing to balance state-of-the-art railway Software context with today's technical challenges such as cybersecurity, ecodesign, and data science.Software Designers and Architects' role is to:Define the best design proposal and deployment strategy to meet customer expectations.Implement and test this Design, with respect to Functional and Performance constraints.Interact with other Métiers until the certification of the Software release.Contribute to innovation and develop Expertise Polyvalence.As Control Software Group Manager, you will:Manage hierarchically Experts, Design and Architects.Lead transversal topics Software Continuous Improvement activities.Develop global polyvalence of the Group.Participate to ease deployment of Software for project teams.WHAT IS YOUR PROFILE?Graduate of a master’s degree in Engineering or university equivalent, preferably with a specialization in Rail Transportation Systems.Experience preferred: 10 or more years in Embedded Software Architecture, and a first Management Experience within a Transport company; experience in Rail Signaling would be appreciated.Ability to solve technical problems: with rigor, critical thinking, analytical approach, but with creativity; you are able to synthesize the different aspects of a technical subject as well as to make reasoned decisions and conduct analyses independently.Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for collaborative work, as well as technical management; you enjoy working in teams and technical coordination, you are open and comfortable when presenting to clients, and motivated by multicultural environments.Fluency in English is essential.Location:You will be based in our premises in Saint-Ouen.You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
