This is an exciting opening for the right candidate to join our supportive and dynamic Litigation Legal Team as a Senior Employment LawyerbrThe successful candidate will assist in the managing of a caseload of employment cases and act as an advocate in employment related cases at Tribunal as required. You will be responsible for the provision of an effective, efficient comprehensive and professional in-house advice on matters of employment to departments in the council, including schools, working closely with the council’s HR department.brThe council works an Agile Working Policy and the post holder can work remotely, but will be expected to come to the office at least 2 days per week and when required to attend Tribunals.brstrongPlease note this role does not attract sponsorship.br/strongstrongAbout Youbr/strongWe are looking for someone with working experience of a wide range of employment law.brApplicants for this role will need to have good communication and organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
