Your day-to-day work will involve not only communicating effectively with a diverse range of people, including customers, internal colleagues, and external agencies, but also maintaining positive relationships even in challenging situations. You will have the opportunity to negotiate and influence outcomes in sensitive scenarios and organise both your workload and that of others to meet deadlines and targets efficiently.You will be empowered to take legal action and represent the Council in court, working collaboratively in a multi-agency approach to tackle anti-social behaviour. Your in-depth knowledge of current housing legislation and anti-social behaviour management will be crucial, as will your ability to provide complex advice and solutions to sensitive issues.Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.About YouYou are someone with demonstrable experience in dealing with complex cases of anti-social behaviour. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are exceptional, enabling you to consult effectively with a variety of stakeholders and represent the department at a senior level. You are adept at negotiation and influencing in sensitive situations, and you possess the organisational skills to plan, prioritise, and execute tasks independently.Your ability to write clear reports and maintain accurate records is complemented by your skills in delivering presentations and training sessions. You are also sensitive to equality issues, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation, enabling you to identify and act against discrimination.
