The subsidiary has 2,400 employees at 58 sites across the country and serves more than 200,000 customers, from artisans to petrochemical manufacturers, from analytical laboratories to semiconductors and metallurgy.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?At our renewable hydrogen production site, Normand’Hy in Saint-Jean de Folleville, your main missions will be:Contributing to customer satisfaction and industrial efficiency by ensuring the proper functioning of installations (process safety, reliability, availability, automation, optimization).Training and qualifying teams on the Normand’Hy process.Providing your expertise in the process to support the operations and start-up team.Ensuring the application of Air Liquide's technical standards and implementing key elements for safety.Your role will initially include:Coordinating theoretical training in the classroom and practical training on-site for the site teams on the Normand’Hy process.Verifying the implementation of the Group's process specifications and standards in terms of safety, reliability, and operational optimization.Preparing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in your area of expertise (start-up, shut-down, process, and process control).During the production start-up and operation, you will need to:Contribute to the continuous improvement of site performance (reliability, availability, efficiency). You will be responsible for the robustness and optimization of the regulation strategy and unit performance. For this, you should be familiar with Control Command Digital Systems (SNCC) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).Ensure the safety of the process operation and participate in the updates of process safety documents (ARA i.e. Accident Risks Analysis, HAZOP, Process Safety Visits, process safety feedback).Actively participate in the analysis of production events (alarms, triggers, incidents) and in solving technical problems (deployment of corrective and preventive actions).Acquire and provide your process expertise to the Normand’Hy teams as well as to requests from internal or external clients, and participate in audits.Draft MOCs (Management of Change) and validate SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).Provide continuous technical support to the site team during operation and participate in start-up phases to optimize (time and risk reduction), write start-up reports and feedback reports, and update SOPs to capitalize on and improve industrial practices during transitional phases.Develop your network to establish close collaboration with other operations technicians, maintenance teams at the Normand’Hy site, other process engineers in the Normandy region, and experts from the Industrial Division and SIO (remote optimization center).ParticularitiesThe Normand’Hy plant is set to start in 2026, and your position will evolve as follows:Before the Industrial Commissioning date: You will be responsible for training the operations team, verifying the implementation of specifications, Group process standards, ensuring the establishment of Important Safety Elements (EIS), and drafting MOCs and SOPs in your area of expertise (start-up, shut-down, process, and process control). During this phase, you will also monitor the start-up activities of the unit, closely linked with the Group's Engineering division. To accelerate your familiarization with the technical and organizational environment of the Group, you may undertake missions in other similar plants under start-up in France and abroad.After the Industrial Commissioning date: You will be responsible for maintaining the training level of the team, ensuring adherence to specifications and Group process standards, and the missions listed above (performance optimization, continuous improvement, etc.).The position is during the day with the possibility of having on-call duties.
