Why don´t you join us?We're looking for an Industrial Application Engineer with strong technical knowledge to support our customers and help maintain and grow existing business. You'll act as a key technical contact, working closely with both internal teams and customer engineers to find the right sealing solutions.You will :Provide engineering support for managed accounts in order to develop sealing solutions, considering technical and economic aspectsBe point of contact for the customer (design or RD) for all technical questions with the aim of building a multilevel network with the customerMaintain close contact and alignment with other BU´s (e.g., manufacturing sites, RD, SCM..)Fully understand the customer's applications and explain the benefits of our sealing portfolio with their excellent technical skills and customized solutions (application-specific material compounds, quality related requirements, etc.)Initiate RFQ, as well as handle technical complaint and material complianceProvide market feedback to identify innovation trends in order to further improve our sealing portfolioPerform product and technical trainingsSupport preparation of and / or participate in customer visits and fairsHandle sealing evaluations to provide suggestions for improvements to customers applicationLead article data management and perform industrialization of design solutions (quality planning, item creation non-standard, etc.)Approve technical drawings, customer specifications and documentations, start process for routing and storage in alignment with all involved partiesWhat You bring :Technical school degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering or Technical Education preferred)Preferably 2+ years of work experience in engineering related fieldKnowledge about core tools, processes norms in Automotive industry like IATF 16949 standard (Automotive Area)Strong understanding of technical drawings and terminology, as well as large technical expertise and knowledge of mechanical systemProficiency in French and EnglishCustomer driven with a positive, professional, can-do attitudeStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask with attention to detail and accuracyGood analytical, decision making and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of rubber / plastic products, seals and bearings is beneficialApplication knowledge within specified market segments is beneficialFamiliarity with ISO quality requirements is beneficialOur benefits for youModern multicultural work environmentExtensive product trainingVery good traffic connections and services (Office in front of RER A train line station)Flexible work hours with the possibility to have 2 days of home working per week maximumStart shaping industry from the insideTrelleborg is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we take pride in the diversity of our employees, valuing the special experience and expertise that people from different backgrounds bring to our business.
