As we continue to grow, we’re looking to expand our impact in the Retail sector by developing a strategic, scalable sales function. The Head of Retail Vertical will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our growth strategy, bringing in new clients, and enhancing our presence in the industry. Sales & Business Development:

  1. Drive new business acquisition and assist to enhance and promote Zoolatech’s presence in the Retail sector.
  2. Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy that aligns with company goals.
  3. Identify and prioritize key accounts, collaborating with marketing and delivery teams to execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns.

Industry Strategy:

  1. Analyze Retail industry trends and technological advancements to uncover new business opportunities.
  2. Understand retail-specific needs (e.g., e-commerce, omnichannel experiences, supply chain optimization) and position Zoolatech’s services effectively.

Client Solutions & Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with Retail industry leaders, influencers, and decision-makers.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling value propositions and tailor solutions to client needs.
  3. Manage the sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure, ensuring client satisfaction and successful delivery.
  4. Act as the Retail industry expert within Zoolatech, guiding sales, marketing, and delivery teams with domain knowledge.
  5. Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions align with Retail industry best practices and client expectations.
  6. Develop a long-term vision for scaling the Retail sales function, with the potential to build and lead a specialized team.

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in technology sales, business development, or industry consulting, with a focus on the Retail sector.
  2. Strong understanding of retail business models, digital transformation trends, and technology applications (e.g., AI in retail, e-commerce platforms, supply chain automation).
  3. Proven ability to build relationships with Retail industry stakeholders and navigate complex sales cycles.
  4. Established relationships within the Retail industry are strongly preferred.
  5. Engineering or technical background preferred, with the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.
  6. Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving sales growth in a fast-moving business environment.
