A UX designer ensures a product makes sense to the user by creating a path that logically flows from one step to the next. A UI designer ensures each page visually communicates that path. A UI, UX, and front-end web developer is responsible for applying interactive and visual design principles on websites and web applications for a positive and cohesive user experience. These developers use HTML, CSS, and other design tools to achieve responsive designs.
Job Responsibilities
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Creating user stories, personas, and storyboards; determining information architecture and creating sitemaps.
- Creating prototypes and wireframes; conducting usability testing.
- Finding your area of interest; UX design is a broad discipline.
- General structure and writing style, action research design, and case study design.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Ability to illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Experience in creating user stories, personas, and storyboards; determining information architecture and creating sitemaps.
- Experience in creating prototypes and wireframes; conducting usability testing.
- Understanding of UX design as a broad discipline.
- Knowledge of general structure and writing style, action research design, and case study design.

- Experience with responsive design.
