  • Conceptualization and Design:
    • Generate innovative and original design concepts for perfume bottles, vessels, closures, and luxury boxes/cases, taking into account brand guidelines and production feasibility.
    • Develop sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.

  • Technical Development:
    • Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
    • Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure designs are producible and meet quality standards.
    • Oversee the prototyping and sampling process, ensuring design intent is maintained.
  • Material Expertise:
    • Possess a deep understanding of the properties and capabilities of glass, crystal, metals, woods, and other materials used in luxury packaging.
    • Stay up-to-date on new materials and manufacturing technologies.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in object and product design, with a strong focus on perfume packaging. A portfolio demonstrating relevant work is essential.
  • Material Mastery: Deep knowledge of glass, crystal, and other materials used in high-end packaging, including their properties, manufacturing processes, and finishes.
  • 3D Modeling Proficiency: Expert proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, Cinema 4D, Blender).
  • Technical Drawing Skills: Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
  • Design Software: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for presentation purposes.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to glass, crystal, and luxury box production (e.g., blowing, molding, cutting, polishing, finishing, box construction techniques).

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve design challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing luxury perfume packaging design projects is required. The portfolio must clearly demonstrate the candidate’s ability to design bottles, vessels, closures, and luxury boxes/cases.
  • Experience with sustainable packaging materials and design principles.
  • Experience working with international manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of perfume industry trends and consumer preferences.
  • Experience in the design of jewelry boxes or similar high-end cases.
