Head of Construction – Restaurant Industry

We are looking for a Head of Construction to lead and oversee the strategic management of construction projects and restaurant transformations for a leading international restaurant group. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in construction management, project execution, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the successful development of high-quality, operationally efficient restaurant spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement construction strategies for new openings and renovation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Review and approve architectural plans, layouts, and equipment proposals while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and franchisees to facilitate project success.
  • Lead and manage the Construction team, ensuring high performance and effective project execution.

Profile & Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role in the restaurant industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software; strong ability to analyze technical plans.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills; problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach.
