Director of Operations

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN BERLIN

As the leader of our Operations teams, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing Moonfare’s Fund Administration & Fund Operations strategy. We are looking for someone who has the capacity to drive towards Moonfare’s strategic vision whilst managing & advancing the day-to-day operations function. Combining process refinement, scalability and team leadership you’ll be responsible for a vertical that is key to Moonfare's growth plans.

You will :

1. Develop and execute Moonfare's Fund Administration & Fund Operations strategy. Working closely with our Fund Administrators, you will ensure our tech, processes and team are at the highest standard possible.
2. Build a client-first mentality driving high client satisfaction.
3. Lead and develop Moonfare’s Fund Operations and AML / KYC teams.
4. Refine processes internally across AML / KYC and Fund Operations as well as cross-functional teams and externally with our service providers.
5. Work on major projects including rolling out a new distribution feature and a new reporting feature.

The next Moonfarian :

1. Has 10+ years of Operations experience.
2. A background in fintech or regulated environment is a +.
3. Has a track record of building and motivating exceptional teams.
4. Has a deep understanding of operational workflows and process improvement.
5. Has exceptional project management skills and structured methodology.
6. Has an analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to decision making.
7. Is experienced in change management and has a high level of maturity in decision-making.
8. Has great creative problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts and problems.
9. Is experienced in financial planning and budget management.
10. Has exceptional written & verbal communication skills in English.
