We are looking for a Head of Audit M/F on a permanent contract at our site in Templemars (59).
Strategic Oversight: Support the Internal Audit & Risk vision by developing and executing a risk-based, flexible audit plan for allocated entities or functions, ensuring balanced coverage of Group and local risks.
Leadership and Reporting: Lead the audit plan’s delivery, provide timely findings and recommendations, and prepare reports for senior management and Board members.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish consultative relationships with key stakeholders, participate in Audit Committee meetings, and serve as a point of contact for expert advice on risks and controls.
Team Development and Efficiency: Lead and develop the audit team (2 direct reports and 7 auditors in 2 different locations), fostering a diverse and engaged workforce, leveraging data analytics, and optimizing resource use to drive productivity and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on best practices, enhance audit methodologies, and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team and business. Manage budgets effectively and ensure efficient use of external resources when needed.
• Communication & Influence: Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to gain the respect and attention of all levels of management to local Banner Board level.
• Leadership: A high level of initiative, resilience and proactivity is required. A high degree of personal integrity and independence/autonomy combined with a considered and mature outlook.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Able to build effective relationships across the business, with peers outside own team, understand the impact of their own behaviour on others and modify it accordingly to effectively influence.
• Decision Making: Able to solve problems with creative and pragmatic ideas, making sound judgements based on balancing any operational risks against the impact (or benefit) to the customer.
• Process: Strong intellect and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong Capacity to Work in an International Environment: English required.
