Position Title: Lead Electrical EngineerProject: Major Onshore Energy ProjectWork Location: Initial Assignment in France (until December 2025), then Onshore in QatarContract Duration: 36 MonthsWorking Schedule: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week, 26 days/monthStart Date: As soon as possibleEnd Date: 2028Job SummaryThe Lead Electrical Engineer will manage electrical engineering activities for a large-scale onshore energy project. The role ensures all technical requirements comply with project specifications and are delivered to the highest quality. The responsibilities span design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and startup phases, with a focus on seamless integration of electrical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee technical activities and ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements.Perform technical reviews, including FEED (Front End Engineering Design) deliverables, and recommend improvements.Provide support during the ITT (Invitation to Tender) and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phases by resolving technical issues and offering clarifications.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and regulatory entities to ensure smooth project execution.Supervise detailed design and evaluate electrical equipment specifications to meet high-voltage power demands.Monitor the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.Lead technical input for risk and safety studies (e.g., HAZOP, SAFOP) and share lessons learned to improve future projects.Minimum RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Experience:15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in large-scale energy projects.Proven expertise in HV/MV/LV systems, large motors (40MW+), power generation, distribution systems, and related manufacturing processes.Prior experience with EPC contractors and vendors in the energy sector.Skills:Strong technical acumen and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.Proficient in English, with excellent communication and coordination skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse teams.Behavioral Competencies:Safety and quality focus.Effective problem-solving and decision-making.Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.Collaborative teamwork and communication. #J-18808-Ljbffr
