A Cosmetic Group is looking for its Global Visual Merchandising Director in New York City. A role that will take place in an international environment and will require strong management & relational skills, autonomy, and agility.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Build & drive 360° merchandising in-store projects, from concept to implementation guidelines with a team.
2. Support design and deliver temporary and permanent in-store materials and provide guidelines.
3. Lead the collaboration with marketing & creative departments to deliver a consistent brief to design agencies.
4. Transform a creative concept into technical briefs for global or local production & procurement purposes, to ensure quality excellence.
5. Manage the projects, ensuring deadlines, budget, delivery, and implementation of the assets developed in collaboration with the Go-To-Market team.
6. Create and draw up the merchandising guidelines to ensure constant optimization of work tools, processes, and communication.
7. Coach and train Go-To-Markets and/or local affiliate staff during annual merchandising seminars or market visits.

Profil

EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Strong merchandising and business backgrounds, international scope.
• 10 to 15 years visual merchandising experience within luxury houses.
• Cosmetics field knowledge is mandatory.
• You are a creative thinker, detail-oriented with an eye for design.
• Strong leadership & communication skills.
• Agility, power of persuasion, and technical knowledge to read and support creative solutions while remaining flexible.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy.

EDUCATION

Business School degree and/or University Graduate and/or BA in Visual Design, Merchandising, Fine Arts, Interior Design. This position is based in New York (USA).
