About the role We are looking for a results-driven sales professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for both sales and art. Your mission will be to drive revenue growth by developing and managing a portfolio of high-value French sellers, in the primary and secondary market. In addition to account management, you will prospect and onboard contemporary artists and art galleries in France. Working closely with Catawiki experts in Classical, Modern, and Contemporary Art, you will play a vital role in accelerating growth. As an Art Sales Representative, you will report directly to the Senior Sales Lead within the Art Supercluster Sales team. The Art Sales Team Our Art Sales Team includes seven Key Account Managers and Business Developers across Europe. We are dedicated to building relationships with art galleries and artists on our platform, working daily with our art experts to optimise and expand our reach. What you’ll do In addition to standard sales representative missions, your responsibilities will cover: Guiding and challenging your assigned sellers to meet KPIs, focusing on sell rate improvements and quality standards. Collaborating with Catawiki Art experts to accelerate growth by sourcing lots for auctions and initiating single-seller auctions. Building strong relationships with sellers through calls, meetings, emails, and visits. Conducting regular business reviews, adjusting frequency based on seller size and potential, and analysing KPIs to drive impactful actions. Developing medium and long-term strategic growth plans for your assigned sellers, aligned with the global Art Strategy. Proactively signing up new art sellers to bring fresh supply and diversity to our category. What you’ll bring Strong sales mindset with a focus on results and target achievement. Proficiency in data-driven approaches. Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal teams and external sellers. Excellent communication skills in both French and English (internal communication in English, external in French). Skilled in data-driven negotiation and organisational abilities. Based in or near Paris, with availability to meet top sellers and work at least one full day per week in our Paris office (75009). Proficiency in Google tools (Sheets, Slides); experience with HubSpot is an advantage.
