Work closely with the Pontivy Site Management team, the Flexibles commercial team and the wider FP finance community to ensure that we consistently monitor, track and improve our financial performance. Plan, direct and control the site finance activities and warrant that we are compliant with internal and domestic finance processes and that our processes are aligned with the kp Group standards. The role reports to the VP Finance and will be based out of Pontivy.Key tasks and responsibilities:Together with the Pontivy/Flexibles management team drive and secure profitable growth in line with the budget targets.Overall responsibility for the Pontivy site P/L and Finance Business Insights and Performance controlling for the full Flexibles business entities. Warrant that insights are translated into concrete initiatives and actions for the benefit of business performance.Be a proactive Finance Business Partner towards the Site Management team and Flexibles Commercial team.Ensure that business plans and budgets are worked out in accordance with Group- and Divisional processes/policies, and in line with the Divisional business planning cycle.Ensure that annual budgets are presented for approval in accordance with the set time schedules.Ensure that Group financial, and other related policies and procedures, are implemented and maintained. Ensure consistency, efficiency and co-ordination.Ensure that accurate financial information on the Flexibles operation is available on time. Facilitate follow up and control of the operation and the organization’s fulfillment of all internal and external financial reporting obligations.Ensure the monitoring and control of the performance of Pontivy/Flexibles operations. Identify variations from budgets and business plans and ensure the development and implementation of any necessary corrective actions.Ensure that procedures and internal controls are implemented and maintained and continuously fulfilling the minimum control requirements set by the group (including segregation of duties).Work closely together with the FP Operations Finance Director and the wider FP Finance organization to provide the necessary information to create full transparency and Business Insights.Take on the overall responsibility for securing that all finance processes, reporting standards and daily operations are performed in line with kp Group standards. Lead, coach and develop the Pontivy Finance team to achieve maximum performance. Enrich and expand the talent pipeline within the finance team and ensure strong finance capabilities to support the further growth and expansion.Functional knowledge and technical skills within own and other areas:Operations Performance and Sales controlling.Controlling and reporting.Finance Business partnering.Budget process owner.Bonus target follow up and performance measurement.Secure high quality in data and reporting.Secure compliance in accordance with guidelines from Group Accounting and Controlling.Educational requirements/qualifications and experience:Has been part of a Site and/or Business Unit leadership team and felt the pressure of delivering a P/L.Worked in resource constrained environments; resilient and learned how to “fend for themselves.”Can move and execute with pace, consistent with Private Equity norms of operation.Understanding of PL management, all aspects of business management.Experience leading dispersed effective finance teams.Experience managing change.University Degree or equivalent higher education qualification.Can lead and support strategic and operational finance initiatives.Has successfully led and supported business transformation initiatives.Has documented experience from driving and managing price setting initiatives including managing local transfer pricing implementation.Can develop and drive implementation of Business cases for the benefit of the Flexibles businesses.Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial team-orientated environment, with a preparedness to ‘roll up sleeves’ and get stuck in at the front line.Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.Self-starter who is assertive, resourceful – has the ‘can do’ approach.Results-driven, combining rigor and pace.Team player who is inclusive and collaborative but also has ‘fire in the belly’ and gumption to win.Has a gravitas to engage with senior key stakeholders, internally and externally.Brings an aptitude in working in a matrix environment with a functional ability to deliver ‘best practice’ and work effectively with others to lever learnings across a business.Influencing.
