Operating within the global online food delivery market, which is expected to be worth $365 billion by 2030, and backed by Tier-1 investors, including Octopus Ventures, Local Globe, Heartcore Capital, Rakuten, and Battery Ventures. ?The role Taster is looking for a Finance Accountant to join the team, reporting into our Head of Finance. You’ll be involved in the management of the accounting operations, including responsibility for both Management & Statutory accounts, building & improving our financial control environment, and the day-to-day Finance Operations. You can operate strategically – working with the team and improving processes to deliver in a fast-moving environment - you can also deliver operationally in the context of a small team. ?Your responsibilities Management & Statutory Accounting and Reporting Responsibility for producing the monthly management accounts; Responsibility for the Annual French Statutory Accounts and Audits, coordination and working with outsourced accounting firm and auditor; Responsibility for the Monthly French VAT reporting; Coordination with HR on dealing with French payroll and benefits providers; Coordination with Legal Counsel on Governance matters. Financial Control Maintaining adequate financial controls, with a continuous improvement approach suitable for a fast-growth business; Oversee the use of the financial systems infrastructure, ensuring it is fit for purpose and continually adapting & evolving to meet the needs of the business; Supporting our Head of Finance in having rigorous Balance Sheet controls; Financial Operations Processing of the fortnightly Sales Invoicing and Payment processes; Responsibility for the Supply Chain Accounts Receivable procedures; Supporting our Accounts Payable administrator in managing payment runs and business card expenses, including handling supplier queries. Support on improving the P2P cycle including approvals, controls and reporting to ensure strong governance, cost control and cash management. Reporting on and management of weekly cashflow, and involvement in Treasury & Working Capital management to optimise liquidity & minimise risk; Tax Management Responsible for tax compliance and meeting our filing obligations.
