As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure our Energy Storage products are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will travel to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Clermont Ferrand region. Then Tesla is looking for you!What You’ll DoPerform all on-site technical activities related to the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of our Energy storage network in Clermont-Ferrand and other locations in France when needed.Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site.Act as the first point of contact to contractors.Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams.Prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities.Support: Traveling to remote locations (La Reunion, Corsica, etc.) to support our technicians in those locations.What You’ll BringMinimum of 2 years of experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field; experience in a field role is a plus.Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems; High Voltage experience is a plus.A passion for renewable energy.Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, with a motivated and proactive attitude.Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively.Fluency in French and a good command of English.A valid driver's license.An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position.Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
