The Port McNeill Medical Collaborative has an opportunity for you to participate in the clinic. Full-time, part-time or practice share opportunities exist. The Port McNeill and District Hospital, a 10-bed acute care facility, provides emergency, hospice and palliative care, diagnostic imaging/radiology, laboratory services, mental health and low-risk obstetrical services. There is a requirement to provide on-call ER coverage at Port McNeill District Hospital, on average 6-8 24 hour on-call shifts per month. Experience in rural family medicine and a willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team-based, collaborative practice is an asset. Start Date: As soon as possible Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 to 17:00 hrs Benefits: May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Recruitment Incentive: $20,000 (full-time) Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 Fee Premium: 22.82% Annual Flat Fee: $26,269.08 Rural CME: starting at $3,520/annum in year 3 4 in community, increasing to a maximum of $5,720/annum after 4 years. Rural GP Locum Program provides $900/day to locum physician with 43 days/annum locum coverage to resident physician.
