In joining us you will actively participatein this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.About this role :We are currently looking for our future Facility Chemical Engineer to join our Construction team. As such, you will have the opportunity to participate in the construction of our future gigafactory equipped with state-of-the-art machines capable of manufacturing cells and modules for electrical vehicles. You will be a contributor in a multidisciplinary field of engineering concerned with the physical infrastructure of the industrial facility.This role is located in Bourbourg, at the outskirts of Dunkirk (North of France).Responsibilities :Develop conceptual designs for equipment and system expansion and/or upgradesManage and implement all phases of new construction and renovation/upgrade projects, including planning, design, construction and commissioningPrepare written project documents, which may include budgets, staffing, schedules, coordination and other pertinent project information Conduct technical project reviews and prepare written comments, analyses and recommendationsModify existing equipment and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity and cost effectivenessOversee the activities of various contractors and consultants for the fulfillment of facilities engineering responsibilitiesCoordinate consulting engineers, contractors and maintenance personnel during the design and construction phase of facility systemsPrepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of materials for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projectsOversee the structural, mechanical, electrical, utilities, site, environmental, and other construction and engineering drawings for the facility Interpret regulatory codes for compliance Requirements :Engineering degree in a related field, preferably Chemical EngineeringAt least 5 years of experience in construction projects Proficiency in both English and FrenchProactive and result-driven personalityWhy join us?Strong company spirit and culture settle down around our 4 values:ContributionWe promote personal initiative and give everyone the means to contribute to the company's success.CommunicationWe're committed to transparent communication: we say what we think, and we mean what we say.Team SpiritEveryone, in their role, is an ambassador for the company.
