Nuance Audio integrates AI-powered audio technology into eyewear solutions, targeting individuals with mild hearing loss and offering a lifestyle-enhancing experience with our lens portfolio. /ppYour role is to join our EMEA team as a Data Scientist to leverage data to drive strategic decisions across markets, optimize marketing and commercial investments, and support B2B and consumer-facing initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, finance and product teams to deliver actionable insights that fuel growth and innovation. /ppYou will have the opportunity to work on the Nuance Audio product range, which is being launched across EMEA and already demonstrates strong business impact. This is a newly created role, ideal for a proactive and entrepreneurial Data Scientist who is eager to define analytical frameworks, develop new methodologies, and build data-driven capabilities across diverse markets. The role may evolve to include other Wearables such as Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta. /ppYou’ll be part of a collaborative culture that values innovation, curiosity, and continuous learning. /ph3Main responsibilities /h3ullistrongMarket Understanding Share Analysis /strong /liliAnalyze market trends, competitive landscape, and category dynamics across EMEA. /liliTrack and model market share evolution by country, channel, and product line. /lilistrongDrivers of Success /strong /liliIdentify and quantify key drivers of performance including brand equity, product range, pricing, and promotional effectiveness. /liliDevelop models to assess the impact of brand and product strategies on business outcomes. /lilistrongROI Investment Optimization /strong /liliEvaluate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns, trade promotions, and other commercial initiatives. /liliRecommend budget allocations and investment strategies based on predictive analytics. /lilistrongB2B Business Steering /strong /liliMonitor and analyze correlations between in-store activities such as product demos, sales and merchandising efforts. /liliTrack sell-out performance to consumers and identify levers to improve conversion and engagement. /lilistrongConsumer Usage Insights /strong /liliAnalyze consumer behaviour data to understand usage patterns (e.g., hours of use, context such as TV viewing, restaurant visits). /liliSegment users based on behaviour and develop personas to inform product and marketing strategies. /liliBuild and maintain forecasting models for sales, demand, and market trends. /liliSupport scenario planning such as seasonality analysis and business simulations to guide strategic decisions. /li /ulh3Main requirements /h3ulliMaster’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. /lili5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably in a multinational or EMEA-focused environment. /liliStrong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). /liliExperience with forecasting, market modelling, and ROI analysis. /liliExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights. /liliExperience in B2B and/or consumer goods industries is a plus. /liliFluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus. /li /ulh3Diversity, Equity and Inclusion /h3pWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
