Burton Postdoctoral Fellowship, a teaching and research position honoring Dr. Burton, a model teacher-scholar at SJU for over fifty years. The Burton Fellowship is a one-year appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning Fall 2025, with potential renewal for up to two additional years.Applications from candidates who are historians of the modern Middle East, broadly defined, are invited to apply.
