If you're ready to take the next step in your career and thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, we’d love to hear from you!Supervisory ResponsibilitiesOversee Accounting Department operations, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, credit and payroll.Identify training needs and oversee staff training programs.Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssist with analysis of transactions and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Assist with preparation of budgets, financial projections and analysis.Maintain fixed asset accounting and schedules.Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.Supervise sales tax process for multiple states.Assist with the annual financial statement audit.File quarterly and annual reports to maintain business licenses.Facilitate annual business insurance renewal.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures for departmental functions and cross training purposes.Perform other related duties as necessary.RequirementsExcellent supervisory skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Advanced Excel skills.Proficient in accounting software.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Ability to maintain confidential information.Able to meet deadlines and have attention to detail.Education And ExperienceAccounting or Finance degree and previous experience in construction accounting required.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in management.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
