Commodity Manager - Automation, Electrical Components CabinetsResponsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and supplier management for given complex categories of spend. Perform sourcing activities for a set portfolio of spend categories at global and/or local level to achieve commodity results and ensure compliance with Group strategy to drive overall performance profitability for the Business.Your MissionLead, develop and implement short and mid-term global commodity strategies for assigned spend categories, including strategic areas, notably by performing and consolidating conclusion of diverse and/or complex analysis (spent, cost breakdown) and business continuity assessment.Define the annual saving forecast and saving action plan, identifying risk and opportunities.Is responsible of the tenders (RFQ) for the complex or strategic allocated commodities.Negotiate contracts with global and local Suppliers. Negotiation includes lists, quality standards, prices, discount rates, duration, delivery timescales, commercial terms and conditions.Promote and lead cost reduction activities and alternative products/solutions towards internal stakeholders.Handle complex Supplier base management activities and manage Supplier Relationship at global level with autonomy, monitoring KPI trends and setting necessary corrective actions.Understand and validate rationals of suppliers to drive the productivity, meet quality requirements. Relative to the point above understand and validate risk assessment and related mitigation plans.Scout new suppliers to comply with the category strategy and lead the qualification process developing a unique sustainable supplier base.Perform analysis in assigned spend categories. For relevant commodity (cost, strategic importance, …), monitor the market through constant benchmarking and/or cost breakdown analysis in order to continuously improve costs, quality, delivery and technology; and escalade in case of main non conformity.Perform business continuity assessment: financial risk including supplier dependency analysis and capacity assessment with dual source analysis.Your ProfileEducation and LanguagesMinimum Education: Master's Degree in Engineering is preferred; Business, Economics is also acceptedExcellent English and French are mandatory (written and spoken)Italian, Portuguese and Chinese are an advantage.Required Experience and SkillsMinimum 5 years in strategic sourcing in an international manufacturing company.Experience in Automation Electrical Categories is preferred and considered as an advantage.Experience in international negotiation, contracting and claim management.Excellent negotiation and communication skills as key element in order to interact both with suppliers and internal stakeholders at different hierarchical levels, and capability of managing conflicting priorities.Computer skills: proficiency in MS Office application (Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc); SAP knowledge is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
