The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial health of the school and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and accounting principles, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, parents, and external auditors. The role also involves reviewing monthly payroll files processed by our external payroll provider.The successful candidate will:Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management.Be highly numerate and literate, proficient with financial software and Microsoft Excel.Have a strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.Possess relevant qualifications e.g. AAT, ACA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA.Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible in their approach.We offer a competitive salary, access to a contributory local government pension scheme and other staff benefits.
