The Project Manager Store Planning Europe, based in the Paris office, will oversee store planning project management tasks throughout the Europe Region. This position reports to the Europe Director Store Planning, and works with the NY Head Quarter based Real Estate, Store Design & Store Planning teams to ensure corporate design and construction standards are executed and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Manage pre-contract & post-contract construction works across all Store Planning projects (new stores, relocations, renovations, expansions & closures, day 2 works).
- Focus on schedule management, strategic project oversight, cost management, bidding, procurement & strong construction knowledge in the high luxury retail fit-out sector.
- Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships.
- Lead European projects and initiatives; manage project implementation through planning, preparation of technical files for the store design team, execution, monitoring and handover including as-built documentation, permits, and handover to maintenance.
- Deliver projects on-time, within scope and within budget; coordinate with local architects, M&E engineers, and store design to ensure design criteria and finishes are aligned; coordinate with internal TCO groups (Security, IT, CVM, Legal, Insurance).
- Support new project rollouts (Pop-Up stores & Temp Stores) with a focus on standardization for global adoption.
- Travel as required to project locations to monitor progress and ensure quality and compliance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in the Luxury industry/sector.
- Strong value engineering, cost control and time management skills; ability to manage own workload and work in a team.
- Strong communication skills; ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Europe region.
- Computer skills: PlanGrid, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, SharePoint.
- Ability to manage construction teams and project stakeholders (internal & external); design & detail oriented with high standards; analytical project management skills.
- Proactive, ownership mindset with problem-solving skills; KPI-driven and capable of developing and tracking annual KPIs.
