The brand is now sold through 250 retailers around the world and has launched its first retail store at Printemps Haussmann in Paris in August 2023. Coperni is looking for an enthusiastic Wholesale Account Manager, based in Paris, with proven experience in designer and/or advance contemporary wholesale to drive Coperni’s growth, starting in May 2025. You will be well connected, detail-oriented, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strategic mindset. You will have a strong understanding of international markets and key players worldwide and you will have the ability to communicate collections with energy and professionalism.

What your day to day will look like

  • Planning & business development
  • Support Coperni commercial director with commercial strategy & business planning
  • Business development & negotiation (BP)
  • Seasonal budget forecasting
  • Identifying prospects and key areas for development
  • Wholesale account management / Growing existing wholesale business
  • Follow up on seasonal deliveries and payments, working closely with internal teams to provide optimum service and smooth communication with customers
  • Analyse, record, and act on sell through results optimizing in season sales and performance (swaps, re-orders, incentives…)
  • Identify opportunities to grow with and service key partners through exclusive capsules and/or special projects (highlights, pop ups, installations, events…)
  • Work with key wholesale accounts’ marketing teams on tailored initiatives to support brand visibility and performance
  • Support accounts with seasonal In-store product trainings and VM recommendations
  • Working with area managers/local agents on regional planning & customer relationship management
  • Sales campaign
  • Showroom organization and set up
  • Showroom diary management, market preparation
  • Showroom sales
  • Oversee seasonal order process from linesheet upload to OC send out
  • Analysis & reporting
  • Feedback market intelligence to merchandising, design & development teams
  • Deep dive end of season reporting
  • Seasonal best sellers analysis, working closely with retail/ecom
  • Competitor analysis
  • Price monitoring
  • Support with development and updates of seasonal range plan, and pricing strategy

What you need to succeed

  • Minimum 5 years designer/advance contemporary wholesale experience with a passion for sales and building relationships
  • Experience in international sales is a must
  • Proven track record of generating sales and building relationships
  • Developed buyer relationships
  • Negotiation skills
  • Understanding of the financial and legal implications of setting up new business
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Attention to details and able to multitask
  • Detailed reporting skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Problem solving, use of own initiative and drive
  • Ability to work in autonomy
  • Fluent level of English is required
  • Second language (French, Italian etc.) preferred
