We believe in the power of diversity: we are convinced that an inclusive and diverse work environment leads to more innovation, creativity and better results.Assistant Maintenance Manager for the Gouy - Schaerbeek South ZoneReference ID: 9326FunctionAs the Assistant Maintenance Manager for the Southwest Zone, you will contribute to manage the interventions (inspections, maintenance, and incident follow-up) on the Belgian high-voltage network in the Gouy – Schaerbeek South region.In this role, you report to the Maintenance Manager for this region, who holds overall responsibility for ‘Substations’ and ‘Linear Assets Structures’ activities in the Gouy – Schaerbeek South zone.Your responsibilities include:Assisting the Maintenance Manager with the organization, monitoring, and optimization of on-site interventions, ensuring continuous, reliable and safe services;Supporting the Maintenance Manager and Foreman’s in managing the different field team and supporting their development;Contributing to the harmonization of processes and working methods in collaboration with the Maintenance Managers, Asset Managers and our Operational Center of Excellence;Validating new infrastructure within investment projects, considering operational safety requirements;Implementing new safety regulations and actively monitoring the application of existing safety measures in the field;Being cost-conscious and monitoring budgets in line with budgetary policies;Acting as the technical point of contact for internal and external clients;Advising the Maintenance Manager on optimizing the department’s structure and processes;Leading or participating in various projects and working groups.Your ProfileYou hold a degree in civil or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.You have a few years of experience in a similar role and are familiar with high-voltage electricity networks.You possess strong organizational skills.You have sharp analytical skills and solid problem-solving abilities.You are bilingual in French and Dutch and have a good command of English.OfferSalary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€8 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results.Insurance: group insurance, hospitalisation insurance, ambulant care insurance for the whole family and also personal accident insurance.Vacation: You will be entitled to 20 vacation days and 5 additional vacation days, 6 local days, 4 exempt days (after 1 year of employment) and up to 5 long-service days (1 day for every 3 years in employment).Social fund: Sinterklaas and year-end vouchers, birth and marriage allowance.
