**Job Description:** br* Airbus UpNext * launched * Optimate * to go a step further to pave the way for smart automation solutions on commercial aircraft. brThe aim is to demonstrate operations and functions from gate to gate to assist pilots, protect aircraft and reduce crew workload in different situations (taxi in complex airport, weather avoidance, etc). Tests are performed on virtual simulation, integration means (simulator A350, electrical bus with embedded software) and flight test aircraft. brOptimate is searching for a VV Test specialist for aircraft control and pilot assistance functions. br* This position is within Airbus UpNext (in Saint Martin, Toulouse) and it consists of a CDI-C contract linked to the deliverable of the demonstrator (estimated date September 2026 ), starting ASAP. *brWith the support of specialists in architecture, design, VV and Test, the test specialist will be in charge of the verification and validation of functions based on data-driven models used for pilot assistance as well as aircraft controls and protections software.
