Key Responsibilities: Direct Responsibility: 1. Key responsibilities To act as the primary point of contact for quotations and enquiries for ad-hoc business To identify sales opportunities. Profiling all new business to understand intricately how we can support with freight / customs. Focus and drive to achieve targets. Respond to incoming enquiries from our website, via LI, telephone and email. Specific knowledge/skills required Airfreight sales and products Source your own business leads and act on those provided by Sales and Operations Colleagues as well as using other tools given. 2. Operations Execution Responsible for planning and executing operational activities related to Air Operations and will involve all the file management and operations activities. The incumbent must act as the owner of the job file and will also be responsible for creating and updating of shipping documents, milestones and customer invoices in the system. This role will need close coordination with customers, customer care team, pricing team and all other relevant stakeholders to ensure that best in class service is given to our customers. Indirect Responsibility 1. Strategy/Product Management • Identify and share market trends, opportunities and customer needs • Support the execution of global initiatives and strategy within the Country, the Area & the Global Network. 2. Carrier and Customer Relationship Management / Procurement • Support the Area function in maintaining carrier relations • Actively support & build strong relationships with customers • Own customer experience. We are looking for: Prior experience in a Operations and sales opportunity You are customer and service oriented, punctual and have a flexible attitude Good command of Dutch and English in word and writing Experience in airfreight, import & export. A personable and professional individual Good up-to-date knowledge and experience in incoterms An easy talker, team player and a social personality The desire to grow, succeed and achieve targets. Excellent communication skills Drive for results High drive to solve issues Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results.
