People like you.Visit our page to see what exciting opportunities and company await!Job Description:Reporting to the ASD Quality manager, you will join a team based in Nantes and will operate in an environment of electronic components for the ASD market.You will ensure the quality and conformance follow-up on several new product developments, in contact with customers and space agencies, particularly CNES and ESA. You will therefore work on a day-to-day basis with several project teams, made up of representatives of various skills such as radiation-hardened design, packaging, testing…, each led by a project leader whose quality and compliance aspects you will be the privileged contact.You will also be involved in the compliance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System of Nantes Aerospace and Defense entity, in a context of offshore manufacturing.What’s attractive about this opportunity?You will be a member of the worldwide Microchip family, supported and easily connected to other teams. Involved in meetings with customers and space agencies, but also in visits/audits in Europe, US and Asia, you will have opportunities to build many contacts in the Aerospace and Defense community.More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position:Your main activities will be:Participate in products/technologies qualifications and be responsible for the final approval, ensuring that all applicable standards and Aerospace & Defense but also customers specific requirements are metParticipate in investigations resulting from products and/or process related failures, prepare reports on the root cause analysis and recommendations to prevent recurrence.Participate to the (re-)certifications of quality control (ISO9001-EN9100)Participate to the internal quality audits planRequirements/Qualifications:Qualifications and ExperienceTechnical BAC+5Interested in the Space environment, in discovering new products and fields, you are convinced that customer satisfaction is the focus.Experience in Quality Management System, knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards would be a plusKnowledge, even limited, of ECSS, ESCC and MIL-PRF systems requirements would be a strong advantageCompetenciesEnglish: advanced levelGood communication skills, you enjoy teamwork, explaining and giving meaningOrganizational and leadership abilitiesTravel Time:0% - 25%
