Type de structure : A post-doctoral position is available in the group of Dr Matthieu Keller at the laboratory for Behavioral Reproductive Physiology which is located in Nouzilly, near Tours, France.Laboratory Website Contexte et mission : The position is dedicated to MRI image analysis in small (rats) and large (sheep) animal models. The project aims to compare brain morphometric (mainly Voxel-Based Morphometry) changes according to the reproductive cycle (virgin, early and late gestation, post-partum). The laboratory is equipped with all state-of-the-art imaging facilities for large animals (CIRE platform: CIRE Platform) including a 3T-MRI and a CT scan.The position is initially for one year but extension up to 3 years in total is possible (funding: French national research agency and regional council).Ideally, the position will start at the beginning of 2017.Only candidates with a very high motivation will be selected. Lieu : The laboratory is located in Nouzilly near Tours in the heart of the Loire Valley. Tours is a pleasant city well connected to Paris (1h by high-speed train) or Bordeaux (2h from mid-2017 by high-speed train). Rémunération : Salary will be according to experience. Diplômes requis : An extensive knowledge and experience in image analysis and programming (C++, FSL, Matlab, Freesurfer, Linux, Perl…) but also in image acquisition in various MRI modalities (anatomy, DTI, fMRI…) is mandatory.
